Brandon Bruscato (b. 1995) is an architectural designer, composer, and pianist. Currently located in Chicago, he holds a Master of Architecture from the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. He is also a recent graduate of the University of Southern California, where he studied music composition at the USC Thornton School of Music.
Brandon showed an interest in piano at an early age and began composing soon after, in time taking lessons from Patricia Morehead, Ted Hearne, Sean Friar, Donald Crockett, Morten Lauridsen, and others. He has studied at The Merit School of Music, taken part in the Access Contemporary New Music Workshop at Roosevelt University, winning First Prize in the CCPA Young Composer Competition, and has had many premieres and performances thanks to these programs. He writes chamber, orchestral, and vocal music in addition to his creative works in architecture and design.
